Rubyland

It all started long ago in Ruby’s mind. She created her band Rubyland. They have a sonorous sound. Ruby aka Ingrid wanted to work with her own songs to play more freely in an acoustic formation. They play jazz-pop in a conventional formation. Improvisation is a possibilty, a must. Ruby had sung in several jazzbands (Erwin Vann Group, Orpheus: “ When Jazz eats itself”, Lionel Beuvens Sextet, Chroma) but more and more came the desire to do her own stuff. So she searched for inspiring musicians to help her create Rubyland.

All songs were recorded live on the new API 1608 console (no overdubs!)…
