Roland Pec

I was contacted by Roland Pec, an amateur musician and composer, in September 2006 to record an entire album as a birthday present for his son Grichka. This turned out to be quite an amazing project as Roland hired a selection of well-known studio musicians and wanted to use some atypical instruments. As such, this was a great learning experience for me as an engineer (e.g. I had never recorded an accordion or string quartet). The project was recorded and mixed between October 2006 and May 2007 and was very well received by Grichka!
